There are many life experiences that I have had that will help me with my goal, of completing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. The most important thing that I have in my life is Faith, in knowing that this, is what I am meant to do! I have known for a very long time that I want to become a Psychologist and help families and children. I have been raised in a very religious home and family life. I have been raised with strong morals and ethics from both of my parents. My father encouraged me to never give up on my college education and my desire to get my Psychology degree and help people. I was finally in a position to start taking college classes again, when my father got very sick and passed away this last fall. I took time off of school …show more content…

I had to stop my classes and not finish. He made me promise, that as soon as I could, I would finish my degree, and become the counselor, he and I both knew I was destined to be. He always demonstrated a very strong faith in knowing what Heavenly Father had in store for us, as the Patriarch of our family, and he taught me the value of following my heart and to trust my faith in everything I do. I know in my heart that I am meant to get my Psychology degree and to continue, as far as I need to go, in order to help families and children. I have always had the desire to work and teach children. I have been coaching kids for almost 30 years in a variety of sports, as well as being a mother of six beautiful children, and a grandmother of four. I have been married for 27 years to a very dedicated and loving husband and together we work very hard to give our children a strong family foundation of love, faith, religion, morals, ethics and a strong value to do what is right.
