Conversing about theology is not frequently at the top of ones to do list because it is not always inviting. A remarkable amount of people think it is not for them, it is boarding, or extremely complex. Theology is first and foremost founded on Christ. Theology is a word that I have been acquainted with from a young age. Personally, when I hear the term theology, I think of Christian religion. I also think of how God relates to the world. I think of other great Christians who have intelligence that surpasses mine, which I can glean truth from. Moreover, I think of reading. Though some individuals use theology for a career, I believe that every Christian should learn a little theology. It can essentially be applied to every aspect of daily life. Theology can bring honor and glory to Christ. Learning about it can bring renewal to one’s personal relationship with Christ. Equally, I consider wisdom and knowledge. While I have not academically studied theology, I have encountered in several times. I was saved at a young age, furthermore, I employed an abundance of time at my church. Additionally, I have encountered theology in an online Bible study during books that I have read. I lead Bible study online, so when I encountered theology, I to pay close attention. Correspondingly, I have heard it preached on some by John Piper and other pastors. I have also read specific theology books for enjoyment. I have encountered theology while studying the Bible. Personally, countless things have shaped my theology so far. It has been shaped by the people in my life, books, retreats, my time with God, and by my school work. Looking back, now I am able to see that in my adolescent years I was exposed greatly to theology without recognizing it. My close relationship with Christ effects my theology and fosters an inclination to learn
