If I am successful in being selected for the graduate program, I hope to gain knowledge in the fields of insurance, international business, organizational behavior, strategy, operations and management. I feel that I am the best candidate because I’m a very motivated worker and although I’m new to the world insurance, I’m not new thinking strategically and analytically. During my time interning at Young & Rubicam, I realized how much strategic thinking and planning went into marketing and I’m excited by the prospect of bringing this same level of thinking and enthusiasm to this new opportunity. Thus, I believe that what has attracted me to explore this organization and the insurance industry is that the fundamentals are all the same. In marketing, risks must be determined throughout all avenues, from advertising, budgeting and even with clients. I am confident that my past experiences in marketing will translate well into the program and I am excited to begin this new chapter in my life.
