After high school there are multiple things that I want to accomplish in my life. First I want to become a police officer. The two most important things to me in life is being happy and being successful in what I choose to do. I want to be happy even if I become rich or famous, if I am not happy with what I am doing in my life nothing else would matter. Success for me is simply doing something that I've always wanted to do and achieving it. Going from public school to homeschool has taught me a lot. For instance, I have learned how to manage my time and money better with only having to go to school two days a week, and working almost every night. Me working every night and going to school has taught me that I don’t have to be like everyone else, I can do what I want and take on the responsibilities of becoming a learning adult. Me having to pay for most everything except staying in my parents’ home has taught me to conserve money and not spend all of my money once I get paid. I eventually want to move out one day and homeschool has taught me to preserve my money so that when I want to buy something nice I can and still know when I need to save for other things. I have also learned that so many people try to put a label on you because you messed up a couple times while in public school. By transferring to homeschool, I found that they didn’t care what my label was they just wanted to help me find the easiest way of tearing that label off. Now on to what I want to do with my life. First I want to start either at the Jail or a Sheriff’s office so I don’t have to go to college to become a police officer. There has been multiple people that have helped me persevere through home school, whether it be people at church or my parents at home supporting my 100 percent all the time on the decision that I made to go to home school instead of staying in public school and not graduating on time. There might be obstacles that get in the way of accomplishing my goals. You never know what will happen next. It takes a lot of studying, hard work, and determination in becoming a police officer. I know if I stay focused I have the ability to get over the obstacles that stand in my way. What I plan to do now might not be what I want to do in a couple of years. Even if my plans do change, I will always have goals for myself. In five years I see myself accomplishing all of the goals listed above and being a police officer within the first year after I turn 21. I plan to go to a jail and work there until I’m 21 and then get accepted into the police academy and work real hard for a couple of years until hopefully some county in Georgia wants me as a police
