I am applying for this course, because I want to help people and bring new ideas to our health care systems. Getting a Master of Science in Global Health and Sustainable Development, I believe will give me the opportunity to not only bring me closer to my career aspirations but also to gain more knowledge on sustainability and global health. Throughout my undergraduate degree I studied biology and some course work in sustainability and nature and learned a lot about the world how it works and how to preserve it. For about one of those years I have been working at IU health working in public health which has lead me to finding my calling of public health and the want to help people. It’s also opened my mind to the process and maintenance of how the hospital is ran and how it continues to run. While working with IU health although as I stated I don’t work directly with patients my work is still a direct influence on the patients’ health and the hospitals success.
