New Year, New Goals. In this year; 2017, I would like to accomplish 3 certain things. I would like to accomplish; being a better dancer, I would like to raise my grades, and lastly I would like to be a better saver. To reach my goals this year I will need to have grit
(Grit-determination to finish or do something.). With grit I will easily be on my way to reach my goals this year by December 31, 2017.

My first goal for this year is to become a better dancer. This year, for me to be a better dancer, I have joined a dance class for hip hop. I will be going to this dance class 4 times a month; once every week. I would like to be a better dancer because I have no idea how to dance, and it would be fun and entertaining to learn to dance. During Christmas(and the rest of the year), I always spend all my money instead of saving money. This year, I will try to use my money more wisely, and spend money only when needed. To try and save money I will be keeping my money in some sort of piggy bank, instead of just throwing it anywhere when I come back from shopping. I will also be keeping the bank somewhere hard to reach, so that I am not tempted to reach into it and take money out. Lastly, I will be keeping it locked, to make it even harder to get to.

My 3rd and last goal for this year; 2017, is to raise my grades. To raise my grades, this year I will be finishing my homework, and turning in more assignments on time, or at least turning in something instead of just accepting a 0 on the project/assignment. I will also try to stay more focused in class, and try to finish my work in class, in order to not have to take it home and have homework. To achieve my goal this year, I can have a planner to write down all the work I have to do at home, and I can put my phone away. With something written down, it’ll make it harder to forget doing my homework. And lastly, when putting my phone away it will make me not as tempted to pick up my phone and go on a social media or
