Persuasion is also an often used tool in the pursuit of personal gain, such as election campaigning, giving a sales pitch, or in trial advocacy. Persuasion can also be interpreted as using one's personal or positional resources to change people's behaviors or attitudes. I also believe manipulation operate with or as mechanical means especially in a skillful manner which can operate almost in the same manner if not careful. I sometimes find myself using Persuasion Tactics with my friends most of them are business owners, helping them with an ideal platform for establishing themselves as "trusted authorities" in their specialties.
