School violence doesn't always mean school shootings, it also goes to any form of physical violence from full on fights to a student being shoved. Just because some cases are less severe than others doesn't mean that it should be taken lightly. One regularly violent student could end up developing worse habits of violence, and everyone has seen just how bad that violence can get. Just weeks ago yet another school in Florida was targeted by an ex-student who people had said to have shown early signs of his future attack. Most kids or even adults who take part in school violence often show early signs, but those go unnoticed and unacknowledged. The main solution that people are coming up with is restricting firearms and creating more gun laws. But of course some feel that is a violation of their second amendment. The fight between gun laws had gone on for years now. “The second amendment of the US constitution was ratified on December 15, 1791.” (Should more gun control laws be enhanced?) But this law was not created for citizens to be able to have firearms for their own protection. It was specifically made for our militia. Before the second amendment was made there were lots of gun laws that prevented native americans, irish slaves, and even certain professions such as doctors and lawyers from being able to purchase guns. “A 1792 federal law required that every man eligible for militia service own a gun and ammunition suitable for military service, report for frequent inspection of their guns, and register his gun ownership on public records.” (Should more gun control laws be enhanced?) So when people try to say the second amendment protects their guns, in a way they are wrong, but the amendment is being abused and misused. Just because you can legally own guns doesn't mean anyone has the business owning things such as assault
