Frank Pavone once said, “If we took a moment of silence for each person lost abortion, we would be silent for over 100 years.” Ever since the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court case in 1973, abortion has been an extremely heavy topic. The people that are pro-choice believe that a fetus is an organism, not a person and that a woman’s rights override an “organism's” development. While there are some other claims a pro-choice person may have, there are not as many claims as a pro-life person. Abortion is murder, regardless of when it occurs.
Not long after Roe v. Wade, the pro-choice side began changing their minds, and began seeing the wrongs to abortion more. There is typically a feeling of regret. There is a feeling of regret because by that point, the woman has finally realized that she is the mother of a dead baby. However, at the time, the woman stilled viewed the baby as an organism.
When looking at research that has been conducted over the years, it has been proven that abortion is murder. A heartbeat could develop in as little as a few minutes, hours, or days. It does not take weeks like some may …show more content…

Wade court case final ruling, was a “house built on sand”. This claim can easily be proven by the idea that before Roe v. Wade, there was no case like this specific one before. Both the judges and the jury did not have evidence to rely on. While both sides may have provided well supported evidence at the time, there was no specific wording regarding the constitutionality of abortion to aid with the ruling. Along with the first point, Adamek makes the claim that abortion has “politicized medicine itself” and the follow up point to it includes that abortion is not “safe nor beneficial for women”.
