However, many parents believe that by homeschooling their kids, they are preventing any bad influences that their child might encounter in the real world. They worry that their children will suffer from bullying or will be forced into antisocial behavior by their classmates; the good behavior they have taught the child will be lost in school. After reading the abstract of “ The Ins and Outs of Homeschooling”, it has come to my notice that if we look deeper into the issue of bulling and peer pressure we would notice that 8 out of 10 times the child would end up with a positive outcome of such experience, for example; a stronger personality. According to the Author Martin Margaret in his abstract titled “Homeschooling: Parents ' Reactions.” “Parents do not trust schools to keep their children safe in society that they see becoming increasingly violent and unhealthy. They worry that schools teach conflicting values. The reason behind going to school is having different teachers teach a subject that they have been qualified for. Most high school teachers are assigned one or at max two subjects to teach students. So how could it possibly be that parents are able to teach over 3 subjects? An article written by Kooner states that “…many statistics have shown that many homeschooling endeavors failed to achieve the target and objective due to the scarcity of qualified educators.” After some basic research done about the topic of homeschooling, it has come to my notice that one of the repeated excuses that parents tend to use is that teachers have to teach around 18 to 40 students per class; therefore they are not able to give each child all the attention they need. What these parents acknowledge is that all these teachers are “certified educators” that have been through a process that could prove that they are highly qualified to understand each child and comprehend how to handle each children with different behaviors.
