Experts have been debating the effects that chocolate milk has on school children for many years. schools should remove chocolate milk from school because it is worsening childhood obesity, children are consuming more carbs, and students will live a better life. Serving reduced-fat chocolate milk has nearly as many calories and as much sugar as a 12-oz. can of Coke. Encouraging students to regularly consume the drink, they say, is contributing to an already worrying childhood obesity crisis." This evidence shows that chocolate milk is in fact adding to the problem that is childhood obesity.
