The harvested amount of deer in Missouri for 2016 was 185,066 that is too much compared to the amount of deer that are still alive. I have a friend who has a farm in Belle Missouri.Their neighbor took twenty-four deer this past rifle season. My goal is to persuade to you that if we got rid of the november season for rifle we could up our population of deer. Therefore we could also have bigger deer. And we could also allow deer to grow and give younger generations of deer hunters to get their opportunity to harvest a once in a lifetime trophy whitetail buck. Instead of the average sized buck being around and eight point the average could be a ten point buck. The average weight could be around two hundred pounds instead of one hundred pounds. We could not have to worry about deer population and start paying attention to our trail cameras.
With both of these points lead up to my last point. This point pertains to younger hunters. The future generations of hunters deserve the same opportunity to kill that monster deer as present hunters had as children. If we let deer repopulate then there would be more deer. If there are more mature deer children would have the opportunity to kill a mature deer instead of the younger does and smaller bucks. So by removing rifle season for one year we could do a lot. We could give the deer a chance to repopulate themselves. The deer will also be able to mature. When the deer are both repopulated and mature this will give future youth hunters a special opportunity to harvest a monster whitetail deer. So therefore removing rifle season will eventually lead to a bunch of happy youth
