In America there are milestones that children hit on their path to adulthood. Beginning with getting a driver license, then the ability to vote, and finally the age to consume alcoholic beverages. The driver license affects the rest of one's life and opens multiple opportunities to grow. The ability to drive is the young adult’s first taste at being an adult in which granting an easier lifestyle, young adults and people engaged are impacted. Requiring a high school diploma to receive a driver’s license is stunting a young adults growth and state legislature shouldn't even consider it an option. Earning a driver's license enables embed responsibility, necessary transportation, and a prevention of risks.

Responsibility is a skill acquired by one's determination and a driver's license is an invaluable incentive. Yet unfortunate some students have to sleep in their own car because of trouble at home. The …show more content…

Families may have some medical limitations that may prevent them from driving so having a hand to help is always welcomed. Students being able to drive could be the difference between life and death. Life will be much easier for the guardian who may have taken one to school most of their lives. State legislature could argue that there are buses or even trains that could be taken. If a student wakes up after the time when the bus arrives then at last, a last resource option is to drive the car to school. Buses or trains do not go at the pace a student does, students may arrive to school unprepared and unrested because the bus times are exponentially premature. Also beneficial to acquiring a license much time before getting a diploma is the possibility of taking college trips.
