Many teenagers today are at risk when getting behind the wheel. Driving is an easy thing, but just a slight mistake can make it the opposite of easy, or even worse if it is fatal. When a teen receive a driver license then he/she wants to go everywhere alone or with his/her friends. This too can put teenagers at a high risk because they will be too excited. Even though a teen pass the test, he/she is still at risk because the test does not determine that he/she will be accident-free. Teen drivers have a history of being unsafe drivers, but precautions have been made to limit wrecks that involve them. There is almost the dark side of every good thing. ¨Most nighttime fatal crashes among young drivers occur between 9.P.M. and midnight. The fatal-crash rate per mile driven for sixteen-year-olds is about twice as high during the night as during the day¨(¨Teen Drivers¨ Par.3). Teenagers should stay off the road mainly at night because that is when most of the accidents occur. Teenagers should always take caution while driving, and pay keen attention to the road, and what is up ahead or behind them.
