NASA says that ice sheets have lost over 150 kilometers of mass from 2002-2005. The global food system is basically how food circulates, this is from when they're seeds all the way to when you have a fresh fruit on your plate. We have a stable system today, but the future will always be a mystery. There is a spectrum of things that could bring our food system to grinding halts, such as deforestation, war or even population growth. But, the most threatening danger to our food system is climate change. I believe that global warming is the biggest threat to our global food system and my intention in this paper is to inform and convince you so.

The issue of global warming is that it creates the world with harsh environments which is a problem when in regards to agriculture. Beyond that climate change can destroy land and dry out once flourishing places. The world changing in climate can destroy crops, and it threatens agriculture across the world today, and in the future. It Can affect the way food get to us, such as heavy storms at sea, when trying to trade food around the world. If we look at the past we will find that addressing pollution, greenhouse gasses, and global warming will give us what we need. Luckily we have time and experience on our side and we can still address the threat. We have people on this earth that try to make an effort to make this world a greener one, but our changes need to be evident in more than just recycling. We can learn from our past mistakes and forge a healthier and more fruitful planet for our food to thrive
