Who are gun owners really protecting themselves from? While many people have decidedly formed opinions about gun control, the debate is complicated and has strong supporters on both sides. The gun control topic come to the heart of debate in the wake of mass shootings that continue to pop up throughout the nation. Yet nothing has happened on the gun control front, and it seems like never will. Perhaps if we found a compromise, there can be agreeable resolutions that will help us make a difference through change. When done in good belief and not fear, our freedom can remain intact and lives saved. Even though, the right to bear arms is regarded as an essential freedom and is protected by the second amendment of the constitution, Americans need more gun control which could prevent school shootings, also better background checking is necessary, and we all know guns are so complex that special training is required to use them properly. Having a gun is a choice, and having it is a big responsibility. Historically, in our country, guns had big role and they still do. According to the second amendment gun ownership is perfectly legal and guaranteed as a right.
