Guns have many difference some for hunting and self- defense, others are the reason people need defense. Guns are even protected in our constitution “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Not all parts of the United States is under this law, like Morton Grove, Illinois, where owning a gun is illegal. There are many organizations that fight for gun legalization like the Nation Rifle Association, which is organization that informs members about firearm bills and laws while supporting privacy rights for gun owners. There are also many that fight against gun legalization like Parents Agents Gun Violence, which is an organization that is thinks are ways to reduce gun violence like not owning a gun in the first place. Our constitution clearly says that we are able to have to bear arms, so why even try to fight the constitution it is the foundation of this country only behind God and the bible. Guns do not only play a part in our present, but they also play a part in our past. This country does not only allow guns now, but was won with gun in the American Revolution, where we won our freedom from Great Britain. In Morton Grove after they banned the crime rate jumped almost sixteen percent in twenty years. Morton Grove is just proof that making guns illegal will just make things worse. Just because something is illegal does not mean people will obey it that is why we need a justice system and police officers to arrest the people that do not follow the law.
