Introduction In regards to the recent upheaval of violent crimes on campus, various pro-gun activists have given the suggestion that both teachers and students should be allowed to carry the weapons inside the campus. Many of them claim that their rights are being violated, as they are not allowed to bring the weapons inside the campus. The debate here is that it is not the right, rather it is whether guns should be allowed inside the campus or not. According to the constitution of United States of America, the citizens have the right to carry guns with them. However, to bring guns to the educational campuses are not considered to be appropriate. As under the law, there are guns available to the public. To allow them in the educational campuses would increase the probability of death or injury (Gates p.n.d). It is believed that allowing the weapons into the classrooms or campus would increase the violent and crime rates on colleges. It is considered that the educational pursuit is enough stressful. The majority of times students are not controlled in regards to their emotions. This can set anything off a barrage of emotions. For example, if the students feel that the teacher is doing unfair to him/her, they can take out the gun on the teacher or other students. A similar case can happen with the teachers if any teacher was turned down from their tenure might take the revenge from the tenure board in order to get justice. The deadly weapons and agitated emotions are the core factors of the death or injury in regards to the gun related incidence. It cannot be assured that just because someone is teacher or someone is a student, does not grantee that they are emotionally ready in order to possess a firearm (CNN Wire Staff
