Cannabis, also known as marijuana, pot, weed, or bud is a hemp plant in which euphorogenic and hallucinogenic drugs are formed. A profusion of individuals use cannabis for its euphoric properties, meaning they simply want to get “high”. While on the other hand, a great deal of people are suffering with pain from diseases such as AIDS, epilepsy, glaucoma, cancer, and the list goes on. There are arguments for and against the recreational use of legalized marijuana in all 50 states of America. Although supporters for the recreational use of medical marijuana see it as the new breakthrough miracle drug, critics on the other side have argued that marijuana has no place in the medical field now, nor should it ever. The demand for medical marijuana increases more and more each year. Imagine having a disease that causes you to be in pain from the moment you open your eyes, until the moment you close them when you go to sleep at night. Of course the doctors give you pain medicine, but it does nothing to cease the constant pain that you are in every single day of your life.
