Legalizing Marijuana has been a controversial topic not just in U.S. but all around the world. Some believe it can be used as medicine while others believe it can be serious health problem, especially teens who tend to use it the most as a drug substance. I disagree with this because marijuana is much harmless than other drug substances such as Tobacco or Alcohol. It can be used for medical purposes and can be sold in pharmacies with valid identification. With 8 states already legalizing it’s time to think what is hurting us the most. If it’s legalized there are many ways the government can take advantage of it like taxing it. Moreover it will benefit our government’s capital. Marijuana is a dried plant that can be used as drug and medicine. It is less effects than smoking tobacco or alcohol. According to the statistics of 2013 not one death has been recorded from overdose of weed the street name, and more than 400,000 people have died from smoking tobacco and approximately 26,000 from Alcohol.
