The legalization of marijuana is one of the top things discussed in states that have not already legalized it. A positive outcome is extra revenue as a state we can be making. Less criminal activities such as drug trafficking and drug dealing can be minimized and may also affect drug trafficking organizations tremendously. There are very few states that have legalized it for recreational use but a larger variety legalized it for medical use. There are a variety of reason why marijuana should be legalized, these are just the tip of the iceberg. The dispute against legalization of marijuana is majorly disputed amongst states but can benefit in many ways. One way legalization will make a change is by creating more money for the economy. By doing this, money can go where we need it the most. This will juristically increase the revenue income and allow us to use more money towards schools, remodeling roads, and other necessities that can be enhanced. Not only will it decrease crime rate by a ton but also laws will be more effective. Very little crime involving marijuana will be broken. Many states that don’t have the privilege to legal marijuana may create smugglers. Legalization will run smugglers out of business and all marijuana purchases will be legal and secure. It will also ensure safety from a business rather than marijuana that’s been on the streets. Having legal marijuana also puts restrictions on who can purchase it and new rules. Some rules include “preventing the distribution of minors, possession or use of federal property, the growing of marijuana on public areas, and preventing the revenue from the sale of marijuana from going to criminal enterprises, gangs, and
