We gamer have that one game that we just love to death like Minecraft or Grand Theft Auto. Since that game got us through our hardest moments in life or maybe just brought us the most pleasure into our lives. Whatever the reason that we love our games we would fight for them to the end of time. And if anyone ever criticizes them without reason or told us they were just a really bad game and should have never excited. We as gamers would stand up for those games that we loved with logic, reason, and some very angry Reddit posts. Even though shown from countless games that theses types of methods are not necessary. It’s all just a way to control the gaming communities today using them to invoke other gamers into fighting each other to define or to destroy games that don’t really need it do to their already great succession. In general video game companies have been manipulate media to sell more games when they don’t have to to do so to be successful, and such companies use methods such as violence, nudity, and gore to gain said sells.
One example of how that video game companies manipulate media is through showing that violence makes a game seem better.
