In the state we live in minimum wage is just $7.25 which is not that bad for kids that is in school. Because some kids need jobs like at a restaurant that pays minimum wage so they can save and buy things that they want. But minimum wage is not good for all people because it just not enough. And those people are adults who may have kids that they have to take care of all on there on. So that is when the struggle comes in and it gets really hard for them because they only make $7.25 at there job. Minimum wage should increase, so people can be able to buy their basic needs that they need to survive in this world, and it would increase activity and motivate more job growth.

Minimum wage should increase form $7.25 because it is really hard to live on your own with that. With minimum wage being stuck at $7.25 a lot of people can not get the basic needs they need to survive. “Increasing the minimum wage would reduce poverty” (2).
