North Korea is a mysterious communist country that divided itself at the end of the second world war. With a population of over 24 million people and with most of the country is either exclusively atheist or non-religious. There has also been speculation that the country keeps a tight grip on the media seen by North Koreans, including limited to no internet access, pre-tuned radio stations. I imagine this is a way Kim Jong-un controls his people, knowing only what he allows them to know. Coincidentally, just as little as North Koreans don’t know the full truth with domestic and international crisis, neither do we. Unfortunately, North Korea isn’t only testing their bombs underground. Friday the 15th North Korea fired ballistic missile in Japan. South Korea responded by firing some of their own missiles showing their capability of endangering North Korea. Not to mention President Trump releasing the statement of the United States’ ability to unleash “fire and fury.” What the world is having a hard time wrapping their head around, is why North Korea’s Supreme Leader has decided to launch these missiles now.
If North Korea decides to antagonize our United States of America with their continued missile launches and weaponry testing, President Trump has formerly stated he will put issues with Iran to rest to deal with Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un. However, even with the President's full attention, a pre-emptive strike to North Korea’s nuclear weapon facility would cost too much for the White House administration withstand.
