Now a days, when you watch coverage of elections or just the news in general sometimes, everyone is comparing everything in polls. Everyone has an opinion and everyone wants to get it out. The biggest poll that is given out of the
United States is the approval poll. Currently this is the biggest political controversy, I've ever seen after an election, given I've only been a live for a few.
Currently the polls are showing Trump is sitting at a 40% approval rating.
Most presidents come in with an average approval rating of 50%. The reason I feel it Trump’s is so low is, he hit the ground running. As soon as he got inaugurated, he passed policies and bills. Most people don't like his “way of doing things,” but he still is doing what he said.

The Rasmussen Report shows this compared to the New York Times. Both sources are credible sources and is respected by many Americans in the United States.
A lot of people base their votes on what they see in the polls. Which I disagree with because Hillary Clinton was leading the polls but she still lost. The polls can not predict who votes for who or vice versa. In my opinion if we should not base our votes on the polls, that is just making you an uneducated voter.
That's like doing exactly what the popular kid does, just because you think it makes you look cool. I guess what I'm saying is following the polls is the same as being apart of the “popular kid’s clique” in a way. You should support the two ideas and read about them before you try to figure it out. Don't base yourselves on what you hear in the news. Polls are going to flip flop everyday, find your own opinion on the subject before you look at them. That's the best advice I can offer you about this.
