Getting an equipment sponsor like Wilson, Easton, or Rawlings can help get the team better equipment at a lower price. The team as of right now does not have an equipment sponsor, and does not have enough money to supply every play with bats, and can not afford to supply gloves to the players. An equipment sponsor would not only help cost reduction, it will help the overall performance of the team, by allowing them to get all the equipment they need to play including personal gloves, bats, batting gloves, and helmets. When teams are sponsored by a company the equipment is discounted, and will allowed Rider Softball to afford essential equipment for every player on the team.
In 2012, 5.61 million children engaged in youth baseball, with many teams playing through the spring, summer and fall. Parents and coaches need to ensure children have the proper equipment to play the game, not only for safety reasons, but also to increase their love of the sport. The wrong bat or glove can leave a child feeling frustrated and ready to give up, yet the right one can have him or her feeling elated
Responsibility Softball, it takes skill, talent, and confidence, but a player also needs to be responsible. She must take advantages, manage every lesson, practice, and homework sheet, and make wise choices. Softball comes with a lot of work, and with that comes responsibility. On defense and offense, the opposing team is going to make mistakes, they are not perfect. Though they are not perfect, they can still win the game if the other team does not take control.
Baseball is considered by many to be America’s favorite pastime. Softball in many aspects is similar to baseball but in reality it is harder to play. This can be shown in all aspects of the game from hitting to pitching to fielding to catching. One major aspect where the difference is obvious is hitting. It has been scientifically proven that a 95 mph fastball generates 2411 lbs of force as it crosses the plate and a softball thrown at 65mph generates even more according to youtube.com.

From 1939 to 1945, the effects of World War II stretched far and wide, reaching even the traditional way of life in America. During this time, clothes, food, and gas were rationed, prices and wages were controlled, the production of consumer goods was suspended, and the “American pastime” was put on hold. By 1942, several baseball teams had been disbanded due to the war. One in five men between the ages of 18 and 36 were drafted and sent overseas to serve in the U.S. armed services, leaving holes in America’s corporate and industrial infrastructure. These holes were filed by African Americans, students, and especially women who took advantage of this opportunity to work in high productivity jobs as the American economy evolved to help the

My recreational hobby or activity is softball. Softball really just lets me relax. Now believe me softball is not relaxing at all is brings a lot of stress into everybody but it lets your mind not worry about whatever is going on at home or school or work because your mind is so consumed into this game that you don’t have time to think about anything else. The game can really get you into shape which is a huge benefit.
A field shaped like a diamond followed by a meadow of grass. Sixty foot base paths that surrounds the infield in a counterclockwise direction. A batting count of three balls and two strikes. Three outs total in all seven innings of pure determined, back and forth softball between two teams. This place has been my home for years.
A softball field is very simple. It has this red tinted dirt, fresh cut green grass, 4 white bases, freshly white chalked lines, and a group of girls that love the game. The softball field is so simple, but yet so beautiful to look at and play on. The cages come along with the softball field as well. The cages or even more simple than the field, all it has is a net, some turf ground, a bucket of
You can play softball just about anywhere. If someone is at a cookout and very bored, then you could get a glove and a ball and pass. Throwing the ball is one of the most important motions you do in softball, so it’s good to practice every chance you get. Softball can help you get stronger and it can build up endurance by running. It’s a sport with a great history, so your parents and grandparents and so on, could have played softball or baseball.
Everywhere you look there’s people sitting or standing cheering on their favorite team and player. Parents are lugging around bags full of snacks and blankets while girls are carrying around big bags of softball gear. You can smell the popcorn from the concession stand and the dirt on the field. It’s a beautiful day at the softball fields; 75 degrees and sunny! I was on a new team called Iowa Outlaws, and I wanted to show my team that I could help them.
