Standardized Testing State testing is a test in which is in no need to take. Also the process in which you are drilled about because of a test over a test. This test also a lacking of falling in life because of the simple fact that through your whole high school years all they worry about is your score on a test and not worried about if you are going to be ready for collage. No accomplishments are being made with a test there are those students who test poorly and those who test excellent. However, these students do not get nowhere because all they are worried about is trying to pass a test every spring they are not learning. Who are you? Funds are being taken away and schools are given a schedule of what to teach when to teach. In addition, now all the extra activities are being take away such as art, music and even some sports how can you help students want to do better if the things they enjoy going to school for if they are being taken away. However this is all due to reaching certain goals for the sate it is easier to give a school and students and also teachers a letter then it is to teach the how to become successful adults in the world. Many times these high school students are not ready to go to college. However this can be due to many things such as cramming new information into their heads and then moving on to the next subject to say they taught them what they needed to know for this test. If they are not ready for collage who will we leave in charge of our country what kind of president will we have. Now is time to make a change and impact in student’s lives how can these teachers do such thing if they are being restricted to the way they teach. “I care more about the people my students become than the scores on the test the take”.
