The United States must welcome Syrian refugees to be safe within the borders. The only reason that they are seeking safety in the first place is because there was a life threatening risk back in their home country. To enter the U.S. these refugees have to go through the most strict security searches. A big reason people are declining refugee acceptance is because they are afraid of terrorists taking advantage. However, refugees have just as big of a fear of terrorist groups as U.S. citizens do. Refugees have most likely been on a quest for safety, walking, for years.
