Today will be discussing the topic of voting age and its effects on American politics and global trends. in other parts of the world, they allow for children as young as 16 to vote in many European countrys. we will be going over the pros and cons of allowing this and how it could effect negativly and positivly.

As all of us know, as we grow older our views change to better ourselves or others. With a growing number of elderly people entering retirement and taking medicaid or medicare, you will have a shift in voters voting more for themselves.This can cause huge problems for young voters as they will be the minority to this and have to pay for things that they may never see in their life. However, i do not believe this to be the case. I personally believe we need to educate our schools on the importance of 1 vote. kids of my generation and younger rarely take interest because they don't believe they can change it or fight for something. if we focused more on teaching our children our constitiunal rights and why they are so important to use them.
