Would You Bet [One of the most up and coming hobbies in the sports world is betting on different sports competitions, while this can be very fun it’s causing many issues that you may not even be aware of.] Over the past few years we have been seeing a lot more professional athletes being suspended for betting on their games, we have also heard a lot of rumors that games are being rigged and bets are starting to take over the mainstream of the sports world. Nowadays everything is switching focus to being all about money and that is how our society works today. Athletes need to be held to higher expectations so we don’t put the integrity of professional sports in jeopardy, all professional sports leagues need to take action and set the standards for all athletes to follow, there should be no exceptions. It is either they break the rules or they don't, it's that simple. They should be banned from making the hall of fame because even though it does not directly affect their playing and their performances it is still an unfair disadvantage that they are using. People with higher power should be held to higher standards because they are on such a large platform and people really look up to them so when people see them cheating and doing illegal things, does that make it okay for them and nobody else? Leagues need to truly put an end to all of the sports betting that takes place within all professional sports leagues, there is nothing wrong with betting on sports games, but it should not be involved within the league no unfair advantages should be given to these athletes, when you know the game plan for the game, it is a lot easier to know what to place your bets on. When it comes to players betting on their own games it needs to be put to a stop, players need to be held accountable, just because they are professional athletes does not mean that they should be getting special treatments. Leagues need to put an end to sports betting and more rules need to be put in place to hold these guys and girls
