Setting in prison can take a toll on someone body and their mental state from being in there so long. Most of the inmate suffrage from : anxiety issues, depression, and posttraumatic stress. Some of the inmate go untreated and they end up committing suicide. A study said ‘’70,000 prisoners are sexually abused every year and also assault, and fights happen.’’ This leads to being depression and phobias that the inmate did not have previously before.’’ This plays big role on the inmates from being isolation and cause risk of mental health complications.
