Thus far NASA had primarily focused on taking baby steps to achieve what they had. While these achievement seem like incredible strides in our eyes, the amount of what remains in the universe to discover is limitless. Although in an ideal world we would have the resources necessary to continue growing at the same rate as during the Space Race, the current high costs of technology had created a roadblock in space travel. Roger D. Launius claims that NASA’s large and ambitious programs failed due to technological challenges and budgetary pressures. Therefore, the question arises; do the benefits outweigh the costs?
Brynn Parker Ms. Barnett English 7 2/20/2024 Pluto Pluto is about 3.6 billion miles away from the sun. But, why is Pluto not a planet anymore? Well, Pluto is now classified as a dwarf planet because it is not big enough to exert its orbital dominance. Even though it's not big enough, it doesn't mean Pluto can’t be a planet anymore. I feel Pluto should be a planet because it still orbits the sun and has enough mass to be round.

There has recently been photos that have been shown of the mysterious planet of Pluto. By the looks of it, we should bundle up, bring our snowboarding gear, and fly off to Pluto and do some skiing and snowboarding! The New Horizons probe revealed these pictures to the public. The first attempt and success to climb Mt. Everest occured in 1953. Since then, almost 4,000 people have been able to scale the mountain, but over 230 people have not been able to climb it successfully. There is a chance of accident or death when climbing this mountain or any dangerous activity. All people should should have the right to rescue services even if they knowingly put themselves at risk because there is always a chance of an accident happening, rangers are there to save people in danger, and there are rescue vehicles being produced to be used in case of an emergency.
Space Exploration “Space, the final frontier” (Roddenberry). The date was October 4th, 1957; the Soviet Union launched the first satellite into space, Sputnik I. Sputnik I’s launch ignited a great competition between the Soviet Union and the United States called the Space Race. As the Cold War was in full force, both the United States and the Soviet Union were trying to prove who had greater technology. The Soviets decided to prove they were stronger and more advanced by launching a man-made satellite into space, something that had never been done before.
Running, that word gives many people different emotions that range all the way from disgust to excitement. Most people will say that they would never willingly run, at least not without some motivation and other people might even say that they enjoy it. This is why the sport of cross country is so strange to people, in fact it is strange to me as well that people would willingly run, despite the fact that I actually run cross country. The main reason that people don 't think running is fun is because it is so physically challenging. Running requires you to always be on your game, the slightest injury or distraction can prevent you from doing your best.
Do you believe In Unidentified flying objects? Unidentified flying objects or UFOs are suspected to house aliens. I believe that UFOs and aliens are real and should be investigated by scientists. Aliens are the beings that are the ones who fly these UFOs. There are many people that believe in UFO and Aliens because of events that have happened.
Introduction The world has seen a lot, but space exploration has had the most significant effect on the world since sugar. The space race and things like the Sputnik change the way the world thinks. While space exploration can be very expensive, space exploration has had the greatest effect on the world because it has exponentially changed the world in education, culture, global challenges, and has created life changing innovations for many people. The thought of "discovery" and "exploration" Space exploration has been the best thing since sugar because it brought the world together.
Colonizing Mars Mars is often voted by people as being the most likely place for humans to colonize after we are done with Earth. This is often said because of Mars’s similar size to Earth and similar climate. However, Mars might not be the best place to go when we decide to make our first extra-terrestrial home. Whether you believe we should colonize another planet or not, evidence proves that moving to Venus is both logical and cost effective. There is much more promise in visiting Venus and much more we can learn.
THE AIRPLANE The airplane is an astonishing invention known to humankind. It was never imagined that it could be possible to imitate the birds in the sky, that was until the year of 1903. The Wright Brothers were the first men to invent the first working aircraft in December 17. Nevertheless the airplane has proven to show many setbacks to harm society.
Many people think that space exploration is a waste of money. They think that people shouldn’t be looking to the stars and that space exploration is unnecessary. Then there is the people who think otherwise. People from NASA, or people who just in general love space ,want to fund for the cause. They think that space can help the economy improve and that there is more to space than stars and a bunch of planets.
I. Introduction a. Now let me tell you one thing, are you satisfied with how our world is. If we were to stop all research and development of new technologies, would that sit well with you? I am not ok with this because I for see a vast and great future for our nation and this future is set to begin in the stars. Our nation the United States needs to boost its efforts in the exploration of outer space and as well as be the front runner in this pursuit for new knowledge. b.
