The Monsters we see in movies differentiate from those one sees in real life. In some movies or Tv series one sees that a monster looks like a despicable creature who torments people physically,but in others monsters often do not have a bad appearance and they do torment people physically and emotionally. Often in most stories there is a reason for the creature to behave the way they do, they often hide in the expectations people have of them and their past. Usually when a movie or tv series about a superhero comes out, the movie starts with a background of why he or she became incredible, but the movie rarely shows the background of a villain. In the mexican telenovela “Teresa”, the lead and villain Teresa’s desire to become wealthy makes her lie and stop at nothing in order to achieve her goal. Teresa throughout the series lures men with her beauty only to get their money, but when at the end she truly loves a wealthy businessman Arturo her past actions get in the way of their love. Teresa is willing to change for him, but his expectations because of her past mistakes make him reject her. Some villains lurk behind an expectation or appearance but at the end they have a choice on how to behave and their choice defines
