We are living in a generation where humans live longer and the demand of PTA is high.
I am writing to apply for the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program, as a freshman majoring Associate of Science at Cerritos College. After I read the program description, I am very interested in this program. I have reviewed from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) through the website, and very passionate in this major. PTA program is one of top future job in ten years the. I strongly believe that I will be the best candidate for this position.
I have known for years that I wanted to work in the realm of health science. I knew that I wanted to do something in sports medicine. When I took a deeper look into sports medicine I learned that there are many areas of sports medicine that you can get licensed in and that the sports medicine part would be a specialty to attach to it. So I took the list as started to look through it at each job that plays an affect in the sport medicine area. I narrowed in on Physical Therapy and then took the time to do some shadowing in it for my senior study.
The career that was chosen is Adventure Therapist. Adventure Therapist uses outdoor exercise to fix problems. Some Adventure Therapist goes to an outdoor school for work. Others get to travel for work. They need the strength to do some of the things that they need to do.
The first one is EMTs and paramedics, emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics respond to emergency calls by providing medical care, performing procedures, and transporting patients to hospitals. The second one is occupational therapists, who treat injured, sick, or disabled patients using everyday activities as therapeutics. The third occupation is physical therapy. Physical therapists assist those who are ill or injured in managing their pain and mobility. The Physical Therapist Assistant is an amazing career I will like to go in because I’ll be helping everyone. I have the skill sets to become a great one because I hate seeing people sad and injure, and I’m ambitions on what I’m doing. The job offers great pay, benefits, job opportunities, and can move up to physical therapist. I’m already working for the Miami Heat and one day I will like to work for the basketball team. I love basketball, so working for the basketball team will be a great fit for me and a life time goal.

I recently graduated from the University of Tennessee and completed the physical therapy programs necessary in order to receive my doctorate. As my resume verifies, I received my state licensure, and I have since been shadowing Dr. Abigail Rose from the local therapy center in order to gain more experience in the field. Although I have already learned much, I hope to continue my education and retraining in the coming years.
I have always had the intense desire to care and look after people from a very young age. I firmly believe that everyone deserves the best quality of life possible and this is what had drawn me to occupational therapy as a career path in the first place. After graduating from high school I plan to attend Lamar University in the Fall of 2016 and start working on my degree in physical therapy. I chose physical therapy as my career because it is a path I see myself enjoying and is a good way to give back to others by helping them overcome their disabilities. Many people tend to select a major that is lucrative, regardless if they feel passionately about their choice or not. I personally would rather go to work every day loving what I do, as opposed to dreading every minute of my job. Physical therapy is the most suitable occupation for me because of my own past experiences with injuries and various aspects about the field that can carry me through my career.

" For some professionalism can simply mean that the individual has a high level of standards, but for others, the term might hold a different meaning. One might infer that there can be several different definitions that apply to this term, which poses the question, what is professionalism in the context of being a student in a doctor of physical therapy degree program?
