Pit Bull Argument Essay “Bite us once, shame on the dog; bite us repeatedly, shame on us for allowing it” (Phyllis Schlafly). Pit Bulls are known to be violent dogs and they keep attacking people even when the attacks are reported. Victims of a painful Pit Bull bite have proven to leave people scared and injured. However other people believe that Pit Bulls can be great family dogs. This has led people to a debate about whether PitBulls should be allowed to be pets or not. Pit Bulls should not be pets because there are laws against them, bite and don’t let go and they attack people. Firstly, pit bulls should not be allowed to be pets because there are many laws against them. For example in the article,” Miami-Dade County Votes to Keep Pit Bulls Out” it states, “The ban was enacted after a pit bull attacked a young girl. This attack was one of many attacks caused by pit bulls. When a pit bull attacks it does not have the ability to let go. Pit bulls are owned by bad people such as drug dealers, criminals etc. In conclusion, pit bulls should not be pets because they have many laws against them. …show more content…

In the video “ A Pit Bull Debate” a woman named Susan shares an experience about when she was babysitting and then all of the sudden her two pet Pit Bulls attacked the baby she was babysitting and the dogs ended up killing the baby. This evidence shows how even if a Pit Bull is given a loving family or good quality training, this breed won’t hesitate to attack their owner. Once the Pit Bull strikes there is no turning back until the victim is seriously injured or dead. All in all, Pit Bulls are unpredictable and it's not known when they will strike you or your loved
