Do you think that pitbulls that were just born should be instantly banned? People think that pitbulls should be banned, thus they have been banned in many places like the United states and canada. I think pitbulls should not be banned because they are safe, protectors and are not born violent.
My first reason is that pitbulls are not born to rip other dogs or Humans. They are being trained to fight by humans who want to make an entertainment out of them or to profit from them. Some pit bulls were selected and bred for their strong ability to fight well against other dogs. That means that they may be more likely than other breeds to fight with dogs and they will be strong choices for dog fights.(ASPCA) It does not mean that they can't be near other dogs or that they are unpredictably aggressive. Pit Bulls are a loyal, smart breed that thrive as part of the family. They are great with both majors and minors. You might have second thoughts about this breed because it doesn’t have that cute looking face... But rest assured that this breed is not as dangerous as it looks, regular training and ownership. Next time you see a pit bull, please don't neglect them for looking like that dog that will rip you to shreds.
Third, Pitbulls can be particularly prone to defensiveness and aggression when they believe their families are in serious danger. Some breeds of dogs, like Basenjis or many types of hounds, will barely give their parents playtime. So when a threat occurs, they won't be coming to your side to defend you. But not Pitbulls. Pitbulls have been bred for generations to work closely alongside owners. This has resulted in a breed that is more likely to stay by the sides of their loved ones and be protective of them when danger
