Plessy vs Ferguson is a similar topic of the book To Kill A Mockingbird. In both cases there was a bunch of segregation. Both people were found guilty because everyone on the jury was racist. Plessy and Ferguson was involved in this case. Plessy sat in the all white railroad cars instead of the all black railroad cars. There was a trial for this case, whether he was allowed to sit the white railroad car. He was found guilty even though he did nothing wrong. This case assessed the constitutionality of racial segregation laws.
This case made segregation laws in the United States a big thing. The U.S supreme court decision upholding the constitutional of state laws requiring racial segregation in public facilities under the doctrine of separate but equal. This trial made the Jim crow laws. The Jim crow laws say there should be no segregation.These laws continued in force till 1965.

Just because they were black, they were found guilty. Also, everyone on the jury was white. That is prolly why they were found guilty. If someone has a different skin color doesn't mean they are different.
