Plot Summary Of Sabotaged 'By Flannery O' Connor

A summary of the story Sabotaged is going to be formed from beginning middle then end. The main characters in the story I will mention a lot of times is Jonah, Katherine, Andrea, Brendan, Antonio, JB, Dare, and Second. The beginning of the story starts with Jonah, Andrea, Dare, and Katherine going back to the year of 1600. Soon after they landed Andrea told her friends that she changed the code on their Elucidator (it allows you to talk to people who help you stay alive back then) so then it vanished. Later they saw two tracers (which tell you what history should be like) of Indian like boys they later followed them to a forest full of tracers. Dare started to bark like a maniac so Jonah followed Dare to a little Cape in that Cape there was

Then Andrea volunteered her sweatshirt to cover the wound. Jonah noticed that the tracer man had no cut in the back of his head. Then the two tracer’s boys picked up a stick which left a tracer and carried him over to a hut while it is raining. Jonah and the girls did the same thing as the tracers. The two tracer boys made a fire by piling sticks, twigs, and dried leaves then they took a pointed stick and placed it in a stick with a groove. Then Jonah did the same. Later they put the man with his tracer and he started to scream in a nightmare which caused Jonah to pull him apart from it. Later Andrea figured out that the man they saved was actually her grandfather who is John White and Andrea is Virginia Dare. The problem is that she is trying to talk to him, but she is supposed to be a three year old toddler while she is thirteen. Now Jonah went to another hut but in the hut there is a melon but once he picked it up there is a message on it saying Eat. Enjoy. You’re doing great. Can’t say more. -Second now finally we meet Second for the first time who is the antagonist in the story, but the melon that he brought was a good melon for them to eat by a test from Andrea. Jonah noticed that the one of the tracer boys went out to get something for John White, Jonah asked if Katherine wanted to join him, but she said no so she can keep an eye on Andrea so she has no ideas. Then later Antonio somehow helped Andrea learn what year they were in. Katherine and Jonah decided that they had to rescue Andrea but he asked who is going to rescue us from Second. Once they saw the island immediately saw the skulls of animals. Jonah saw a lump in the ground and he thought it was fresh which it was. The lump in the ground was actually made by Andrea’s tracer that they have been here for the whole time to see. The most shocking part of the book is that we meet Second for the first time and the whole time he was JB’s projectionist that helped him out a lot of times before Jonah and Katherine. Second had a device that stopped time temporally that helps him in the near future. JB put Second to the ground and he said to him that he was a traitor to him for all the times they saved time. Second fell to his feet and put a show on his device that told them that he released the ripple which causes major damage to the time you are in. A major plot twist is that Second is that he made them go to a dark place with Jonah, Katherine, Antonio, Brendan, and Andrea which Andrea held the Elucidator then they all put their hands together so they can go back to the year of 1600, but Andrea held back her hand then she said If you really care about somebody, it works in both directions so she said
