How can U.S. citizens change peoples point of view on immigration? Immigrants tend to work harder than U.S citizens. Many immigrants tend to have their Bachelors degree ages 25 and older. Other things you will often hear people saying that immigrants do not speak English very well however 75% immigrants speak English well over the 10 years that they arrive. Another argument made by US citizens is “ they do not pay taxes” but only if they knew immigrants probably pay more taxes than anyone. Immigrants come to this country to do the jobs that whites can not do or are to lazy to do. Probably more white homeless than Mexicans.For example if you go out you will see Mexicans working in the fields in construction trying to make a living but on the other hand whites are roaming the streets asking for money instead of looking for a job. …show more content…

There are many negative aspects said about immigrants. Whites say that immigrants only come to this country to take jobs from them. Many also say that they do not know English and also say we do not know how to speak it. People think that Mexican people are bad because they think that they only come here to sell drugs, however not all people are the same. There is plenty of people who think that Mexican people are criminals because of the place they come from but not everyone is the same nor come from the same place. Another thing said about timmigrants is that they do not know how to work the same as whites and do not know how to speak their language. For the first time since the 1940’s , more Mexicans have been leaving the US to return home than arriving , a reversal that brings down the curtain on the largest immigration wave in modern American history , according to a new study.
