According to the suspect, the culprit sliced Bobby Brooks left hand causing him to panic and used his sliced hand to kill Ernest Earl (Bobby Brooks used, this time, to escape from the murderer.) Mr. Brooks also stated he and the culprit were at a funeral on that day. Six hours after this statement all males that were at the funeral were called in for questioning while Mr. Brooks was helping police find the culprit. Interrogations showed all the suspects a copy of the note that was found in Earnest Earl left pocket and were told to make a conclusion on what this note could mean. Two hours later after the suspects made a conclusion based on the note, interrogators gave the suspects a fake (they didn't it was fake)
