William Warden, a witness in this case, saw David Eldridge enter the restaurant before Mr Armes's death and an hour later Mr Armes's screams were heard. In addition, after a while, he decided to check out the restaurant and found Mr. Armes dead. If David Eldridge did not commit the crime then why did someone witness him with their own eyes entering the restaurant before Mr Armes was dead and then the witness found him dead a while after screams were heard from Mr Armes? The next reason is that there was no sign of a break-in and David and Mr Armes were the only people with keys.
Williams went in, he found Mr. Arms dead on the floor. He was also able to do it because he was the only one there and he worked there so he knew where all the stuff was. Next, the Coroner found David Eldridge fingerprints on some of the stuff Mr. Arms was killed with. Mr. Arms lost a lot of blood and there was a large wound across his throat from a metal spatula.
Although there was evidence found against adnan. But there was no DNA test done to show that adnan killed hae . For example hae body was naber tested. Also the rope that was found near hae 's body was not tested, and no fingerprint was test. DNA test is the most important thing in a murder case.
It is the most prominent thing that was noticed by the crime scene investigator, so they found it and identified that David Eldridge's footprint were found in the oil which was spilled, indicating that there was most likely a struggle. if his footprints were found in the oil, that means that he was near the body during the time that the oil was spilled. next david eldridge was seen entering the building the morning of the murder and he got rejected from getting a raise therefore he was most likely angry which without a doubt gives him a motive to kill mr arms and the only people to have keys are david eldridge and mr arms. he has a motive to kill mr arms because mr arms rejected david eldridge a raise so that would give david eldridge a very good motive to kill mr arms which again proves without a doubt that he killed mr arms. He had a motive to kill Mr. Adams so that proves again that he is guilty.
David Eldridge has many pieces of evidence to prove he's guilty such as he owned a key to get into the building, he arrived at the building 2 hours before the death, he asked for a raise then Mr. Armes disagreed to giving him a raise that made David Angry, and there's proof that Barbra Wheeler didn't kill Mr. Armes. The strongest piece of evidence in this case was that he was angry at Mr. Armes since the morning of the murder, he asked for a raise and
Now, one thing that doesn’t help prove his innocence is that we don’t know where he was during the robbery. When asked about his location he states: “ I don’t know exactly where I was when the robbery took place…”And it doesn’t help that the only people who testify to his location are saying that he was involved in the robbery. But as previously stated, everyone who testifies against him has reason to lie and everything they say is within the realm of reasonable
This specific murder helped connect leads and motives to unmask the killer. In September of 1935, “Two teenagers wandering through Kingsbury Run came across the body of a man stripped nude save for a pair of socks. Washed clean and drained of blood, the man’s wrists showed signs of rope burn. Both his head and genitalia had been removed. Lucky for police, the victim could be identified via fingerprints as Edward Andrassy—a drifter who had prior arrests”(Casale).
She stated that Mr. Eldridge had asked Mr. Armes for a raise. Mr. Armes denied his request, explaining how the business wasn’t doing as well as it needed to and there wasn’t enough money to offer anyone a raise. After this, Mr. Eldridge was distraught. If David Eldridge committed this crime, there was evidence that showed how Mr. Armes had denied Mr. Eldridge’s raise and Elderidge was very upset which would give him the motive to murder Mr. Armes
Have you ever considered how people get away with things, like stealing and theft? Most have, and they still wonder just how. David Eldrige had all the right materials to murder Mr. Armes. His fingerprints were also found at the crime scene. This is why David Eldrige should be found guilty.
This story is interesting because at some points you’re like Adnan is innocent and at others you’re like ohh….this could mean he’s guilty. I believe Adnan Syed is innocent because no forensic evidence was ever tested and used in trial. Also summer (last person in contact with Hae) claims that Hae couldn’t have been there at the time the state says she was murdered. The first reason i believe Adnan is innocent is that no forensic evidence was ever tested nor used in trial.
A trusted employee of Mr. Armes, William Warden, had told police that he had seen Eldridge enter the Family Fun restaurant two hours before Mr. Armes was found dead. Around an hour later he stated that he heard Mr. Armes screaming. He then waited a bit after it stopped, then went to investigate and saw Mr. Armes dead, on the floor of his restaurant. Another thing that places David Eldridge at the scene were that his footprints were found all around Armes’s body. There is proof that David Eldridge was at the scene of the crime during the time of the murder.
This part in the story is when Jay says what he knows about the murder but because of how old Hae’s body was they couldn’t test it for DNA ‘’ no physical evidence linking Adnan to the murder ‘’ . This proves he’s innocent because there’s no evidence . Plus in one of the stories he tells from that day saying Adnan called him from BestBuy he said he used the phone from there, checked by the police and they looked back at the blue prints from there , there was no phone at bestbuy and AT &T said they couldn’t use the phone calls as an example in the jury’s office because where ever they were the call was going to pin in the Leakin Park phone call pole . Where the body was buried. There Adnan is innocent because of the lack of evidence.
Ray Lewis makes over $4 million a year. Priscilla Lollar, one of the victim’s mother wants answers and justice. Lewis pleaded guilty for obstruction of justice, a misdemeanor. Lewis received one year of probation and a $250,000 fine by the NFL. He was charged with two counts of murder but he struck a deal with prosecutors in exchange for his testimony against two of his companions, Reginald Oakley and Joseph Sweeting who were acquitted.
Adnan Syed is innocent. He did not murder Hae Min Lee. The reasons Adnan was wrongly convicted is: Adnan has consistently maintained innocence, Jay’s story is in consistent, the call tracking isn’t reliable, the Asia affidavit proves otherwise, post mortem results of Hae’s body debunked the states story, and people who knew Adnan and Hae said the break up wasn’t messy. In summary, Adnan is innocent. Adnan had been in captivity for almost 15 years.
The Bean Trees is can be seen as another The Thing They Carried styled writing. Tim O’Brien wrote a fictional story, inspired by his own time in the Vietnam War. The Bean Trees is a fictional story, inspired by Barbra Kingsolver’s own personal motherhood journey. Kingsolver has two children, Camille and Lily (Kingsolver, http://www.kingsolver.com/biography). Using her own experiences unmistakably makes The Bean Trees truly hers as she drew from her experiences as a mother to accurately show Taylors transition from adolescent to motherhood.
