So for starters we will be talking about popular EDM subgenres. Now you may be thinking “Hey EDM isn 't popular!”. But oh how wrong you are. So what is the most popular of all the EDM subgenres in mainstream music today? This is Trap music. Trap is what almost everyone hears on mainstream radio and also independent record labels. Trance is uplifting and its fills are noticeable to the genre. Here is an example of trance made now. The next type of underrated EDM is called future bass. While again this genre is quite popular, I feel the original artists are the most underrated of all.
