These home visits can benefit students, parents, and teachers even through time constraints, anxiety, and fear. I want to be aware of the child's and parent's goals. Goals affects child development because it gives the teachers, parents, and students help to achieve their learning process. For example, academic goals helps a child and parent succeed in learning. Academic, social, and behavioral goals are helpful to discuss. (Mann, Mary) I also want to be aware of building positive relationships between the teacher and families. Positive relationships affect child development also because the teacher and families need a healthy relationship in order to help the child succeed. The meeting is aimed to improve communication and build healthy relationships.
