Next, I am a diligent student. I try my hardest to accomplish every task without failure. I am that kind of person that has to work hard for what I desire and deserve. There are many positive attributes and assets that I possess. One of them is I am hard working; this will help our FFA chapter because I will venture to make a better and stronger chapter. Another positive attribute is I am reliable; I will strive to be at all of the meetings and activities that the chapter will bestow upon me. Last of all, I am a leader because I am passionate about the things I do while being open minded to the opinions of others. The FFA Chapter has many activities for members to participate in.
In response to the icebreaker questions, I actually think I prefer to answer the academic questions instead. Honestly, I am pondering what possible explanations I could give for several of the questions of choice. A rather grim and queasy looking emoji could easily sum up my disposition at the moment. I have been going over randomized answers for the past few days since I seen this discussion post on Saturday. Had it been some intellectual inquiry of writing knowledge or some insight of the upcoming topics my interest would of been piqued.
I started 4-H as an incredibly shy third-grader; all of the older members were so intimidating, and I had no idea where I would fit in. It didn't take long before 4-H changed my life because every single meeting, activity, and service project was geared towards all ages. I suddenly wanted to be a part of every service project my club did, and this sparked my passion for finding new ways to help my community and world. 4-H has helped me learn that I can lead groups well and in an organized fashion; this has lead to the success of the numerous service projects I've initiated with my club and community. I have also learned how to work with people of all ages by teaching younger members new skills, planning projects with adult leaders and parents,
I am an active member in a wide variety of activities. I am very involved in 4-H and FFA. Through these clubs, I have participated in many community service projects. I work hard in the classroom and I’m very goal driven. I have a 3.14 GPA, and I strive to do better each and every day.

The potential of secondary geography is to stimulate an interest in the wider world through learning knowledge, both in and beyond the classroom, and acquiring geographical and transferable skills to last a lifetime. I’m very proud with my character I have shown. Outstanding character to me is being responsible, honest, and generous. As I feel happy helping others out with a subject they may struggle with. Personal Statement- Stephanie Olivera Growing up I was always the odd one in our family. When my parents started having children, they did not plan us very well. I am 5 years younger than my older brother, 4 years younger than my sister and 8 years older than my younger brother. I was the child that did not have anyone to "play" with, and I grew accustomed to being alone.
It is my desire to attend the United States Naval Academy. My goal is to follow in my father 's footsteps as an officer in the naval branch of our armed forces. My father began his career as an enlisted seaman twenty years ago and is now serving as a Lieutenant. Being the son of a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, I have always had an interest in the military and a desire to also serve and follow his footsteps. It was not until high school when I decided that I wanted to attend the Naval Academy.
Since I first came to college I’ve had the opportunity to discover myself and who I am as a person, and here is what I can tell you. I’m a modest consistently hard working individual who continues to set goals for herself. I take responsible for my actions when things go wrong rather than look for others to blame. I am a person who is committed to constructing something larger for the benefit of others rather than personal gain. I am a person who believes in teamwork and open communication.
Living in hope, with our beliefs, and with little expectation of others is the way forward. My parents, simple and honest human beings, have high expectations of me, wishing that I too, like them, grew up to be an honorable person. Martin Luther King’s life inspires the determined and I agree that to give up on life or stop is deplorable. Irrespective of the hurdles, to push ahead with all one’s might is the only way to succeed. Living this philosophy, my father, a genuine rags to riches story, altered my life, leading by example and encouraging me to follow the path of righteousness.
The more I don’t know, the more I know. The more I realize I don’t understand, the more I discover my desire to know more about psychology. My interest in educational psychology was triggered by my first experience in changing schools.

The question posed in the title, “Who am I?” is very simple but the answers are never so. What defines me as who I am as a person today are relatively my attitude, my personal values and beliefs to life that developed throughout my life. “Values are constructs that we hold as important and beliefs are constructs that we hold to be true (Collins & Chippendale, 1995)”. Meanwhile, attitudes are relatively lasting clusters of emotions, beliefs, and behavior tendencies directed towards specific ideas, people or objects (Baron & Byrne, 1984). Generally, my family members, friends and the experiences I had contribute to my sense of who I am and how I view the world.
