Key Term and Why I am Interested in it The Key term I am selecting for Forum 2 is Ethics in Global Business. I am interested in topic due to how US businesses interact within countries whose standards are viewed as unethical for businesses operating in the United States. Key Term Business ethics is study of what is considered right or wrong according to moral and social norms for each given country. Satterlee, (2012) emphasizes that global ethics may vary from country to country, but there are also several values that most countries would consider to be Universal (p. 52). With China being the lowest ranked in E-ethics according to Chen et al, it can be seen that the Asian people desire a corporate culture that enforces ethical decision making (Srinivasan, 2011). Srinivasan points out that the rapid growth of businesses in Southeast Asia, in regions plagued by corruption, may lead to inequality and injustice as well (2011). A majority of the articles in my study focus on the importance on not only teaching ethics to business students, but also of teaching the specific religions of the regions.
