President Obama’s immigration reform bill would keep five million illegal immigrants from being deported, but Republicans are saying the Obama Administration tried to bypass Congress in trying to change the immigration policies. The executive order from Obama will go to the Supreme Court for a ruling. If it passed, this immigration order would allow undocumented parents of children born in the US, who are US citizens, to get work permits and stay in the country as long as they do not commit any crimes. Immigration advocates feel this is the humane thing to do. (Bredemeier) Our country was built on contributions from generations of immigrants. The Democrats know that our immigration policy is broken and wants a comprehensive immigration reform
