This year is an extraordinary year for American politics as there is an upcoming presidential election. On Election Day, the citizens of the United States will cast their vote for the presidential candidate they would like to see become the next leader of this great nation. However, there are many things to take into consideration when voting for either candidate. Hillary Clinton is an individual who has a great deal of experience in American government. As Secretary of State and former First Lady, Clinton has been exposed to many scenarios where decisions had to be made in the best interest of the people in the United States. This proves to be an advantage for her in the upcoming election. Another great quality that Clinton possesses is the ability to reasonably interact with other people. She can articulate her thoughts in such a way that is not offensive to other people. Finally, Clinton has a great level of understanding when it comes to law because of her acquisition of a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law school. Above all, it is critical to have a president with vast knowledge and understanding of how the United States operates at its best in order to ensure the citizens stay safe, and happy. …show more content…

Military members and second amendment supporters may be reluctant to vote for Clinton because of her stance on gun violence and gun control.
