On the day of the match, Wood pulled harry aside to ‘not pressure’ harry, but let him now they needed an early capture of the snitch. In the stands Ron is becoming very mad at Draco as he teases Neville. Then Ron, Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle and Neville are attacking each other. Meanwhile, in the game, Harry went into a spectacular dive, and almost crashed into Snape, but turned suddenly, clasping the snitch in his grasp. Everyone congratulates Harry, with Snape being very bitter. Dumbledore congrats harry and whispers ‘Nice to see you haven’t been brooding around that mirror…been keeping busy…excellent..”

After the match is over, and Harry is clean, he notices Snape leaving the grounds and follows him on his Nimbus Two Thousand. Being silent, harry observes a conversation between Snape and Quirrell, about the Philosophers stone and Quirrell giving something up. Harry then rushes back to Gryffindor tower and talks to Ron and Hermione. They discuss how there may be other enchantments and spells protecting the stone, and that Quirrell would’ve done an anti-dark arts spell which Snape needed to break through. They also say that as long as Quirrell stands up to Snape, the stone will be safe. In which they also say that the stone will be gone by next Tuesday, as they assume Quirrell will not have the guts to stand up to
