Creating your own original character can be hard. Some people like simple and plain characters, while others enjoy complex and outrageous characters. Some people do not even know what kind of character they like, and others have no idea where to start. Today, I am going to teach you how to create your own perfect character. Let us begin, the first most important question you must ask is “What species do I want?” What I mean by this is do you want to create a human character, an animal, a monster? Whatever you decided will determine what the character is going to be like! Let us run through some questions for the different species. For a human character, what is their race? What is their job? A suggestion would be to go online and generate random colors palettes until you find some colors you like. When thinking about what they look like, you should first determine the personality of the character. You can do this the other way around as well, it does not matter. If you want a punk-rock rebellious teenager, you would not draw them with a pink dress and pigtails. You would draw them with spiked hair, leather jacket, skulls, and so on. I like artsy characters, so that is what I will be doing. I will give my character overalls and a dark black shirt. It may not seem like it relates to the character, but it does! Overalls have a huge pocket near the chest and it can hold pencils and paint brushes. A dark black shirt will prevent paint and other stuff from easily staining clothes. I will also give this character glasses, so that she can see the art she is creating better. Not everything has to have a meaning when you create a character, but think! Does this relate to my character? Does it make sense? What do I need to add or
