There is a remarkable number of artworks that are created by individuals throughout the development of society. Art, by definition, is “the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects” (Merriam-Webster). We usually see artworks particularly in galleries, exhibitions and art museums. These pictures or sculptures represent their creative genius and are recognized and praised by our society. Furthermore, artists use their products as a way to communicate and sympathize with other people. Therefore, people can share their feelings and find their own inspiration more easily. It includes seven steps: planning, authority, selection, commission brief, expression of interest, contract and permanent, maintenance and moral rights (Arts Law). This guideline gives a brief explanation of the process and especially how important the copyright is.
However, there is one special group of people that draw or paint in public space without permission of art law center. These artworks are called “graffities”. For Ruggle, street art is “just art placed on the street, where ‘the street’ is taken in a very broad sense to denote, roughly, any urban public space”. Graffiti is an absolutely hot topic because many experts have brought it into conventions to argue. There are two main argument for this issue, one is supporting for street art due to the fact that it is contributed to art industry, the other is disagreeing with graffiti. In March
